Kathy Pearson, PhD, is a strategist, Systems Thinking expert, and authority in decision making. She is President and Founder of Enterprise Learning Solutions, a firm focused on executive development and learning across industries. Kathy is an Adjunct Senior Fellow at the Leonard Davis Institute of Health Economics and has served as an adjunct Associate Professor in the Operations and Information Management Department at The Wharton School, both at the University of Pennsylvania. In this academic capacity, Kathy taught operations management courses in the MBA program and Executive Masters of Technology Management programs as well as Probability and Statistics, Simulation Modeling, and other courses for the department and the University.
An award-winning educator, Kathy is heavily involved in Executive Education at The Wharton School, Duke CE, and the Institute for Management Studies, teaching on a variety of topics such as Complex Decision Making, Strategic Agility, The Enterprise Mindset, Stakeholder Management, Operational Excellence, and Strategic Execution. As Learning Integrator for many programs, she is responsible for the design of the academic curriculum, the integration of the material, and the overall educational quality of the program.
Many of Kathy’s clients are in the health care and financial services fields, however she has worked extensively with executives from a wide variety of global industries, including professional services, technology, consumer products, and manufacturing. Her client list includes organizations as diverse as Bank of America, Cardinal Health, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), Children’s Miracle Network, Coca-Cola, Comcast, Federal Reserve Bank, Ferring Pharmaceuticals, GlaxoSmithKline, Heineken, Juniper, Lincoln Financial Group, Lundbeck, Microsoft, Schneider Electric, Temasek Management Academy, University of Pennsylvania Health System and the World Bank.
In addition to her executive development work, Kathy’s industrial and consulting experience includes consulting to senior leadership teams in the areas of strategic formulation, complex decision making under uncertainty, and strategic execution. She currently serves on the Board of Summer Search Philadelphia, a non-profit organization that works with disadvantaged youth to prepare them for college and beyond.
Kathy received her B.S. degree in theoretical mathematics from Auburn University, her M.S. degree in Decision Sciences from Georgia State University, and her Ph.D. in industrial engineering (concentration in statistics) from Northwestern University.
As Managing Partner at ELS, Rosemary Bloser spearheads new business development, client relationship management, and design and development of customized learning solutions for global companies. She assesses industry trends and links cutting edge research and faculty thought leadership to help develop new, practical content. Rosemary conducts needs assessments for businesses, and has extensive experience with applied learning, including facilitating and driving action learning project teams for organizations. Beyond the content and learning work, she leads the operations and finances for ELS.
Prior to her work in LDI, Rosemary spent a decade in clinical and research administration, most recently with the University of Pennsylvania Health System as the Clinical Department Administrator for General Internal Medicine and Thomas Jefferson University Medical College as the Director of Financial Operations for the Department of Medicine.
Rosemary’s diverse client list includes AmeriHealth Caritas, Bank of America, BP, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, GlaxoSmithKline, Heineken, Lincoln Financial Group, Penske, Temasek Management Academy, Trinity Health, University of Pennsylvania Health System (Penn Medicine) and the World Bank.
Rosemary earned her MBA (Information Systems) from Rutgers University and holds a BS in Business Administration from the University of Delaware.
